In keeping with the ORS mission of providing clinical updates in retinal disease that are important to the primary care optometrist, the ORS organizes an annual meeting in which the leading professionals are asked to present relevant materials. Keynote lectures are frequently included in order to secure the very latest in important clinical retinal information.

The ORS is dedicated to disseminating information to health agencies, clinicians and patients to stem the ever-growing epidemic of vision loss throughout the world. The ORS strives to develop the most pertinent educational programs and documents in a timely fashion to enable doctors to better serve patients.
